A Tricked Out & All Purpose E-Bike
There is a standard for electric mountain bikes to have at least a 500w motor in my eyes, but what is better than that? A 1000w – 1500w max output mid-drive speeding bullet made for having a blast all day! There is a variety of batteries available to choose, 48V 11.6ah, 17ah and 20ah Lithium batteries. Biktrix did not back down on the Juggernaut HD, its been set up with many quality parts for its price range. When looking at bikes with such high quality parts, what really makes the perfect Ebike we all ask?
The ultimate answer is everyone is different with their tastes and goals. More money, less money, What’s the difference? We are going to dive deep into the features and advantages of the Biktrix Juggernaut HD Classic to find out.
Designed for any Environment
The most noticeable feature of the Juggernaut HD is it’s massive 26 x 4 inch tires, you can cross a small river on this thing! Let alone roll over pointed objects like rocks and trail debris. Breaking into the mud and sand on the beach is a breeze with such a wide tire profile. The bike also comes with an RST Guide front fork to handle the extra width of the tires.
Tires are sometimes underestimated for their performance and importance. Even the Quietkat Quantum doesn’t have tires this large, they are made for serous downhill carving instead of rolling over everything like an elephant. A note to keep in mind is that with wider tires on the Juggernaut HD means a bit less agility, which is an advantage the Quantum has to a tee. The Juggernaut’s thick tires make up for that with stability and better traction over mud, gravel, all terrain! There is no rear suspension on the Juggernaut so it is recommended to look at the Quietkat instead if you are looking for a more agile E-Bike to do jumps and shred up a trail or two.
Made for Commuters, Adventurers and Pathfinders.
Long distance? Packing a bag? Haul it around everywhere you go through water and loose terrain confidently. The Juggernaut HD has a range of 20 to 80 miles or 40 – 128 Kilometers depending on which battery you choose, This is an amazing range for an E bike, most only can achieve half of that distance. The Lithium battery takes 4 – 6 hours to fully charge up. The maximum load capacity for the Juggernaut is 400 lbs.
It is recommended to get the fender package with the bike to prevent splash and unwanted dirt & debris crawling up your pants. The Juggernaut can be fully equipped with panniers and many other accessories like lights and reflectors. Mount up a platform on the rear rack to put your bag or other luggage into a secure position. The incredible range plus the excellent modularity is perfect for all the Uber, Skip, and Door Dash couriers. Truly an ultimate long distance mule in the world of electric bikes.
Build Quality and Components
Now into the good stuff! Already ripping a Lithium battery, a custom Bafang BBSHD motor is built into the frame, which has more ground clearance than any other BBS powered Ebike on the market. You will feel the grab of the full disc brake package on tight corners and crannies, fly up hills with the Shimano Deore 9 speed derailleur effortlessly. Throttle-on-demand gives you a max speed of 35 miles or 56 kilometers per hour. Highly adjustable PAS can be programmed to have 1 – 3, or 1 – 9 levels for any rider’s preferences.
The Juggernaut HD comes with a crystal clear LCD screen to display your power, tripometer, odometer, speedometer, and watt meter (Remaining power). A Cadence Sensor for the PAS provides slick response when changing the settings while pedaling, providing a smooth and pleasant experience.
Properly Equipped for Day and Night
A vital requirement for safety on the road and abroad is a light source to illuminate your path. Not just to see in front of yourself, but to signal to other road users your presence. There is no rear light installed on the Juggernaut HD though, so an additional light needs to be installed for the best visibility on the road.
The advantage to a bike with lights fully installed means they run off the main battery which is way higher capacity than an add-on light with a USB charge port, or any AA or AAA battery. So watch out for the rear light and have extra batteries on hand with you which I do myself all the time for just in case! You never know right?

We earlier compared the Quietkat Quantum to the Biktrix Juggernaut HD Classic for the huge difference of price between the two, showing you the searcher how you can still find a bike with all the bells and whistles that is economical and affordable. Long range riders will love this bike. While the Quietkat is better for downhill rippage, the Juggernaut is more practical and designed for anyone looking for that extra range and power or just getting into E-Bikes.
The Juggernaut HD Classic is a fine option. A great fit for all riders commuting and abroad. Here at Radical Electric Bikes we cannot deny a sweet ride when we see one. We rate this E-bike at 95/100 for the excellent parts & build quality, and then some for the amazing range capabilities. Looking for another step up?
