Wow, I always knew there are glasses for Cycling and Motorcycle but I never imagined to find this information about them, I always had problems picking anything but with your information in this post it is easier and more convenient. However, I have a question, I wear glasses because I have short sight so what is the best glasses for me to use and be comfy or are there special lens for people like me? without my Medical glasses, I can not see well.

Thank you again for this amazing post!

I would recommend you look for shades that clip onto your perscription glasses, unless you wanted to get a new one set with the proper frames with scratch and shatter coating which can be pricey.

Go to your local Optician and get a quote on how much it will cost! For a great frame that will outlast non-specialized ones the best option would be the Oakley Men’s Half Jacket 2.0 Rectangular Sunglasses. They provide the best coverage and can be paired with a perscription as I mentioned before.

I’m a motorcycle rider here in the Philippines and I’m glad that none of the eye glasses cost more than $100. The huge disparity between Philippine Peso and US Dollar makes it so prohibitive for us to buy anything online with a dollar tag price. The ones in the list here are affordable for us.

I’d like to ask, if I have a very good helmet with visor working like a good eye glasses, do we still need these eye glasses for motorcycle riders?

Yes it is a good idea to wear sunglasses under your visor if you do not have any anti glare or sun protection.

A clear lens can be hard on the eyes and having that protection. It is nice to have them too if you want to keep your visor up for better ventilation.

For optimal night and daytime visibility I recommend to look at this combination pack – BLUPOND Set of 2 Anti-Glare HD Vision Sunglasses.

It’s nice to get 2 for 1 when investing into good eye wear. These will fit nicely underneath your helmet thanks to the slim frame design.
